In 1968, B&B Floor Company was started in the garage of Bob and Irene Nitz in Springfield, Virginia. Since those humble beginnings, B&B has remained family-owned and operated, helping customers with their flooring needs throughout the DC metro area.

Our store, B & B Floor Co., is nestled in Springfield, Virginia. We serve Springfield’s population of 30,000 and the many surrounding cities, including Arlington, Manassas, Alexandria, Woodbridge, and Fairfax. Locals and visitors enjoy boating, kayaking and fishing at Lake Accotink Park, a 490 acre area of wetlands, streams, and a lake. Springfield is located in Northern Virginia, known as the “Most Affluent Region in the Nation.”

Just 14 miles away from Springfield is Washington, D.C., the capital of our great nation and the seat of our federal government. Home to the White House, the National Mall (an open park in downtown), the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, the Smithsonian, and a host of other memorials and museums, this great city is a treasure trove of historical information and cultural entertainment.
